The geriatrics consultation carries out a comprehensive assessment of the older patient. It is aimed in particular at people living with several conditions and several treatments, where every decision has to account for all the others.
The goal is to maintain independence, and to detect cognitive or physical decline early enough to act on it.

- 1 Full assessment, with a relative present if the patient wishes.
